Built collabortively over seven months with a company of 16 young people aged 11-18, TYP's devised production 'The Pseudo Project' told the story of two young people fighting to salvage a human connection in a digital age.
Largely performed through an abstract physical score, the company deliberately contradicted contemporary concerns of isolation and loneliness amongst young people by creating work that relied heavily on physical contact and connection between company members.
The production was first performed in traverse at Radiant Gallery in Plymouth before touring to headline TYPify Festival 2017 between the derelict walls of an extraordinary open aired courtyard space.
The Pseudo Project was supported by Exeter City Council.
